His coverage of the auto bailout led to a series of Op-Eds in the New York Times starting in 2009, and his work has subsequently been featured in Bloomberg Opinion, the Wall Street Journal, Automotive News, the Washington Post, Slate, The Daily Beast, The Drive, and numerous other outlets. He is cohost of the podcast The Autonocast, and the author of Ludicrous: The Unvarnished Story of Tesla Motors (2019).
